Fashion
Over the past ten years, the one million Maya of Chiapas have made some remarkable changes, and they have done so in at least forty different ways. Each community has invented new ideas or variations in response to the times, and these ideas can best be seen in contemporary clothing. As the most immediate reflections of Maya culture, thesecostume innovations deserve serious attention.
